We are back at Susie's now. We had some wonderful dinner, thanks to Julie and Mark, and are now just relaxing a bit before everyone heads off to sleep. It was a long, hard day for everyone, but of course especially for Susie. I know I can speak for her when I say thank you for all of your phone calls and wishes. It means a lot to her.
Over the next few days, go ahead and call Jamie, Janeen or Sarah and we can give you the up to the minute visitation schedule. I know Susie would love the visitors, but she isn't as able to run for the phone, so we will make sure that she knows you want to come.
Thank you again, and know you can post comments here for Susie to read. She will likely not be typing anytime soon, but we will still try to keep you all posted as to her progress.

Hey Susie- so glad to hear you're back at home! What a day this must have been for you. I was thinking of you alot, and am glad that you were able to sleep in your own home tonight:-)
I will call over the weekend to see when is good for me to come over and keep you company - maybe let one of your camp counselors there have a little break:-) What wonderful friends you have!!
Okay - hopefully they gave you enough of whatever so that'll you'll sleep peacefully. I'll talk to you soon!

Wow, was I shocked to find out today what was going on with you. I know that your friends and family have been doing their best to keep all in the loop, and that is much appreciated.
You and I may not talk all the time like we always plan to, but after 24 years of friendship it was a shock to hear Jamie tell me of your diagnosis. I must admit that I cried for a few minutes. But then, I know that your strength and your positive nature will help pull you through this. I only wish that I could be there with you, if even for a few hours. But know that I am thinking of you at all times, and that I am with you in spirit.
I love you my friend, and want you to have a fast and healthy recovery.
Please feel free to call me at anytime, night or day no matter the reason.
