We are setting up a team to run/ walk in this year's Revlon Breast Cancer Run/ Walk in Susie's honor. It will be on May 12 near USC. It starts at 8 am and ends in the Colleseum around 11 or so. There will likely be music and festivities at the end.
Once the team is set up, I will post information about signing up. It costs $25 to sign up, and I think you also can get sponsors. I will be designing Tshirts for us all to wear, and I think this will a lot of fun and a great opportunity to get together, raise money and awareness for a good cause, and have a great time. Hopefully you will be able to include all of your friends and family to join the team.

Common Breast Cancer Myths
The first myth pertaining to this disease is that it only affects women.
Second myth that is associated with this disease is that if one has found a lump during an examination, it is cancer.
Third is that it is solely hereditary
The next myth associated with breast cancer is downright ridiculous. Would you believe, that in this day and age, some individuals still think that breast cancer is contagious?
Conversely, some individuals foolishly believe that breast size determines whether or not one gets cancer.
Finally, another myth that is associated with this disease is that it only affects older people. This is not so. Although the chance of getting breast cancer increases with age, women as young as 18 have been diagnosed with the disease.
